Which yamaha upright piano model is the best?

ux1 yus1 or u1

Both YU and UX are about the same. It really depends on the specific one you choose (every one is different). I’d say go to a store, play them both. See which one you like better in terms of feel and sound (to your own ear). I personally don’t like the space hogging of the YUs. they don’t look that good when they’re wide but not tall. If you really want good sound, you have to get a U3. But between those 3, i’d go for a Ux unless I find a YU that’s a lot better (younger, better sound, etc).
