Should I take both Global History 2 and AP European History?
I’m a freshmen. My curriculum for next year said that I could take both Global History 2 and AP European History. I have to take the Global History Regents next year. I’m a good student. I’m just afraid I won’t be able to handle it because I’m also taking Institute English, Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors, Institute Chemistry, Latin 1 Honors, Spanish 2 Honors and Piano Lab. I don’t want my average to drop from 102. Should I take it?
You seem to be a very proficient student, one who challenges yourself. My suggestion to you is that don’t be too strenuous with your schedule. Even becoming a sophomore in high school, you already seem to be an exceptional student. Do not stress yourself with another history class, as you will want to focus on other classes with as much dedication as well. Good luck to you from your transition as one who has just begun high school to a more sophisticated, informed individual.
