Have you asked at the music shops that sell new ones? What you’re looking for is one that someone used, perhaps in a band or just for pleasure, some time ago and has either replaced it or abandoned it. Usually, the guys who own/manage or work in music stores know who the “players” are in their area. If I were the person doing your search, I’d call one of the guys I know at the two music shops near where I live and tell them what I’m looking for. They see everything and they know everybody who’s played in a band for the past 5 decades, and they probably know who has old, beat-up guitars in their attics.
