Guitar Tone Controls

Tone advice please, answer pls?
hi there,
which do you think sounds better,
Remove my guitars tone controls bec there is less effect on the pickups natural tone, and just use an equalizer and the tone control in the amp for better tone or
Just set my guitar tone control at Max treble and leave it there and just use the amp tone controls, I need the opinions of real musicians and experienced guitar players,
Second question,
2) Why do musicians who do not use guitar tone controls and just use equalizers or guitar amp tone control, mostly roll their guitar tone knob all the way to the treble side, does it have more frequencie to work on, thanks in advance,
I would set guitar equalizer to 85% (trebles, bass etc) so this allow You to pick up natural tone allright, then adjust amp equalizer. This is what i do with most of music equipment, some of them needs to be threated in other ways, but what i just said should work.
